I don't have access to the internet at home; I have to borrow a neighbour's computer or go to town to get access. This limits my internet time to an hour or two a week, barely enough to do my postings and not enough to look around very much.
That being said, I'm just fascinated by the lives of the people who are interested enough to read my blog. Are you urbanites, or country people? Do you like to dream about "back to the land" or are you living off-grid? What is important to you, what are your passions, how do you spend your days?
I don't know how to use the internet very well, but I do try to look up everyone who follows my blog, as often as I can. I just wanted to let you know.
I live in the small Manitoba city of Brandon. I make most everything from scratch and have a large garden that keeps us in vegetables for part of the winter.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have a small piece of land on the side of a little lake just north of here that we dream of building a small cabin on and perhaps moving out there someday. We are both incredibly self-sufficient and don't know why we haven't done it before now. Your blog is very inspiring and lets me dream...
..I live off-grid on small scale. Chickens and a small garden too. I live in Canada as well on the East Coast..3 years in and loving it. Both of us work full-time so we are not able to scale up too much but over the next 3-4 years we should have everything where we want it. I live reading all of the blogs on topics similar to my own experience..I have learned so much from other blogs ( and yours too! :)). We both had no experience in ANYTHING..but instead of TV we build something or work on something or garden...it has been a great trade-off! keep up the good work!

Sounds like both of you are doing really well. Keep it up! It's amazing how each step leads to another so easily until you're doing more than you ever thought you would.
